HOW TO GET TO THE CONFERENCE HOTEL

As most of you will be arriving to Budapest by airplane to attend the QX World Conference, the following information will help you get from the Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport to the Conference Hotel, the Zara Continental Hotel on Dohany street 42-44, district VII. Please note that Hungary is not part of the Euro Zone and uses its own local currency called the Forint (listed as HUF). Prices are subject to change.

MOST EXPENSIVE (BUT MOST CONVENIENT): After exiting the Arrivals Hall of any of the 3 Terminals of the Airport, there is a kiosk of a contracted Taxi Company called “FoTaxi” (www.fotaxi.eu). There is a fixed rate of 5,100 HUF (approximately 21 EUR).

LESS EXPENSIVE (BUT TAKES MORE TIME): The Airport Shuttle Minibus will group together a number of passengers going to the same area of the city. Although this costs less than a taxi at only 2,990 HUF (approximately 11 EUR) it could take a long time to get all guests to their destinations throughout the city. Their website is www.airportshuttle.hu but you can go to the Airport Shuttle Minibus desk upon arrival and book your shuttle to the hotel.

CHEAPEST (BUT MOST DIFFICULT AND EASY TO GET LOST): You could always take public transportation which has many options (trains, buses, metros and trams) but you could easily get lost if you don’t know how to get around Budapest. I wouldn't recommend this option but if you truly enjoy the adventure please check out the Budapest Public Transportation website www.bkv.hu to start navigating your way around Budapest.

CASE STUDY

A Call for Submissions for Case Studies with Richard Lloyd and Andreea Taflan.

We are urgently looking for volunteers who are willing and interested to work closely with us to create and submit a Case Study to a Peer Review Journal for publication.  During Richard Lloyd's presentation on Friday 7 October 2010, he and Andreea will introduce the requirements for creating a Case Study, and initiate the communication between those who are interested to work on this project together for the next few months.  We hope that you will come to this informative meeting titled "Information about worldwide device certificates, Case Studies and the www.qxsubspace.com website."  This is a great opportunity to build your professional reputation as a published author in a Peer Reviewed Journal, and will also help expand the science to support the SCIO.
